The early signs and symptoms of pregnancy may vary from woman to woman but some of the common symptoms are missed periods, nausea, vomiting, breast changes, tiredness, and frequent urination. However, these symptoms don’t mean pregnancy only. Such symptoms can also be caused by different reasons such as stress or some kind of illness.

There are major hormonal changes that occur during pregnancy, which reflect a variety of symptoms. Some women have many of such symptoms while others may have only a few Symptoms of early pregnancy are as such missed periods, nausea, tiredness, frequent urination, breast changes, and vomits. But these symptoms only do not confirm pregnancy so if you are having such symptoms, then take a home pregnancy test and meet your doctor for confirmation.

Above mentioned symptoms are for the initial stage of pregnancy, in later stages a woman's body experiences a whole lot of changes in itself, including leg cramps, backache, headache, varicose veins, itching, rashes, acne and pimples, constipation, indigestion, vaginal discharge, mood changes, food craving or depression as well.

Early signs of pregnancy:

The early signs of pregnancy are:

  • Missed period
  • Morning sickness (can occur at any time)

  • Frequent urination (especially at night)
  • Craving for some food and metallic taste even when you are not eating

Missed period

The missing period is the one of first signs of pregnancy that can be observed in women. but in some cases, women may experience a light period flow during the expected period.

Morning sickness

Nausea or morning sickness almost affects half of pregnant ladies. A woman feels loss of appetite, and nausea and often vomits. As it names reflect morning sickness few experience this sickness throughout the day not just in the morning.

Morning sickness usually begins in the very early stage of pregnancy and continues up to 12 weeks but it can last longer or return in later stages as well.

Fatigue

Overwhelming tiredness is also a common symptom in the early weeks of pregnancy .it occurs mainly cause of increased progesterone hormone. which is needed to be maintained during pregnancy because it helps the baby to grow.

During this time women usually feel tired all the time so proper rest is important. iron deficiency is also common in this stage, therefore a rich diet is important. you can take iron tablets after consulting your doctor about the same.

Cramping

Some women experience urination cramping in the early weeks of pregnancy.

Food craving or aversion

Having a craving for a certain food item is common also you might become sensitive to certain odours or your sense of taste might change the cause of the hormones.

Constipation

The change of hormones in your body might slow down your digestive system which can lead to constipation. In later weeks, the weight of the baby's head increases the pressure so you may experience piles as well.

Breast change and enlargement

In the early weeks, you can have tender or swollen breasts. your breast may have enlarged and may also darken and enlarged and veins will appear on breasts as well but it will get better as your body adjusts to the hormonal changes in the later weeks.

Acne or pimple

You have increased hormones and blood volume which can lead to pregnancy glow or more pimples or acne of your body.

Frequent urination

You have increased blood volume which means your kidneys filter more blood hence more waste material as well which leads to frequent urination, especially at night.
